See you in Savannah
I have spent the past year, alongside a handful of extremely dedicated volunteers, working toward a weekend in Savannah in February 2010. Months and months of planning and organizing and collaborating and arguing; morning, nights and weekends, and in stolen moment in between. And now that weekend is next weekend, and I leave tomorrow morning for the final push before the Interaction10 conference starts on Thursday, Feb 4. I am fortunate to have lots of old friends joining me for the event, and I hope to make many new ones. The first Interaction conference, in Savannah in Feb 2008, was a more or less a life-changing event for me so this one has a lot to live up to. If anyone who attends this weekend gets half as much from it as I did the first one, then I’ll know we did something right. I hope to see you in Savannah, and if not, rest assured I’ll be a much saner person when I return.
